THE FOXWHOLE — MISSION STATEMENT
The Foxwhole was built for one purpose: to drag the truth into daylight, no matter how deep it’s been buried or how long it’s been ignored.
This work stands on three pillars:
Evidence. Instinct. And the old mountain knowing that never quite made it into textbooks.
In Western North Carolina, folks don’t separate the physical from the metaphysical. A bad place feels wrong before you know why. A lie leaves a weight in the air. A story with holes in it echoes funny in the back of your mind. People here trust those signs — and so do I.
The Foxwhole exists to investigate:
- cold cases
- unsolved crimes
- fraud and corruption
- stories that never sat right
- and the quiet wrongs that slip past official eyes
This isn’t entertainment. This isn’t speculation. This isn’t internet detective cosplay.
This is the kind of digging the old muckrakers did — the kind that rattles cages, stirs dust, and gives good people hope that somebody’s still paying attention.
The mission is simple:
Follow the truth. Honor the signs. Protect the innocent. Expose the rot. And never back down from a story just because it bites.
If you’ve got a lead, a whisper, or a piece of a story that’s been weighing on you, The Foxhole is open. The mountains remember — and so do I.
